Argentina: “Italian Tap”

ARGENTINA Through Harold’s Lens:

Tap. Tap. Tap.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

From only six feet away I hypnotically watched the tan pointed Italian shoe anxiously move up and down. The seated young man’s movements were putting me into a trance. A weird mental state. From his outdoor cafe chair, he scanned the woman’s store fronts of fashion around him.

Tap. Tap. Tap.
Was he on drugs?

Tap. Tap. Tap.
Was he waiting for a drop?

Tap. Tap. Tap.
What was up?
Scan the store fronts again.

Tap. Tap. Tap.
Look up.
Look down.

Tap. Tap. Tap.
A lanky red head, in a red mini at upper thigh hovering on top of 6” spikes, walked up to him carrying four shopping bags. He stood. They held hands. Walked away. Interesting to watch a man while his gal is shopping for women’s clothes.

  1. Italian men anywhere they are in the world wear fancy shoes. Italians in general wear fancy shoes, we don’t go out with tanks on our feet, they are not becoming. As far as finding patient Italian men who can take women shopping, bad news, they don’t exist!

  2. Well who knew you had to go that far to find a man who didn’t mind waiting while you shopped? LOL Lucky for Mr B, I avoid shopping until we’re on holidays. Those are some swanky shoes the gentleman has on too…stylish down there.

    • Oh Boom, he minded. That’s why he was tapping. Tap. Tap. Tap. Man’s a bit anxious. Fyi, there were no computer or camera stores across the street or he would not have been sitting there. Swanky shoes or not! Maybe it’s a Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus type of thing.
