Some of the other chores these little girls tackle include drawing water, hewing wood and plastering their homes with cow dung.

  1. oh yes, this is fabulous. What beautifully shaped eyes she has and the fabric she is wearing accentuates them wonderfully. One can tell these children are quite comfortable with you Harold. How wonderful that you have had the opportunity of traveling and using your remarkable gift.

    • Thanks. Her eyes were what drew me in. The fabric are the colors of her tribe. The Maasai kids felt extremely comfortable and would follow me everywhere. After a bit, I decided to turn the tables and handed them my camera and let them shoot photographs through their eyes. They really loved that.
