The Indian dancers stomped through town.
I fell in love with the rattling pods on their feet.
Entering the middle of the circling drums and dancers I found myself flat on my belly clicking away.
Selected for the annual calendar of the Garden Club of San Miguel de Allende.

The beauty of the headdresses of the Indians as they dance into the town to the loud rhythm of the pulsating drums for an important religious pilgrimage are magnificent.

Faintly in the distance.
The hypnotic pulsating rhythm of many drums.
I grab my Nikon and head to the Jardin(main square).
Soon appear the pounding drums and hundreds of dancing indians fully dressed out in color, fabric and feathers.
