In ‘Ballroom Dancing’ (which is the style I study) our heads are very far away from each others. In the Argentine dancing the heads are close, and in some instances touching foreheads… This I love; it produces such a tenderness and a passion (providing I am dancing with my partner; that is).
Love it!!! To me, partner engaged dancing is the only way to go!!! This is dancing with involvement. To stand alone and jump up and down to the music does nothing for me.

I did that in my youth and am so pleased to now be ballroom dancing; it’s a wonderful way of being with your partner; and great exercise too…!
Totally agree. Thanks Mom for forcing me into partner dancing when I was 10. It has stuck!
Wonderful. Concentration is clearly displayed on the dancer’s face.
Tango is a dance, it seems to me, in which good dancers need to concentrate yet appear as if they are relaxed.
