AFRICA: The Serengeti Through Harold’s Lens:
I feel truly honored today to have been selected Aboard Blog of the Week .
Open this Aboard Blog of the Week link and you’ll discover the interview Through Harold’s Lens did with Aboard Blog of the Week.
There are thousands of Blogs out there. They asked me to be their participating guest this week and to answer a few questions. In answering them I learned more about myself and was able to take readers behind my lens with experiences as to what makes me click and how I do it.
Hope you enjoy.
Thank you Aboard Blog of the Week.
That’s a charming and personal photo. I love that you asked a local to take a picture of you. The naive result is very endearing.
Thanks. Glad I kept that photo. Most of the times I hang the camera around a local’s neck, I just delete the photos later. Really chews up the chips. But they love it over and over. I wish I had a camera that could instantly give them all photos of themselves.
Congratulations, Harold! I think you have lots of great things to say – so good choice for Aboard!
Thank you Jolene. I am honored that they asked me. I sure had lots of fun thinking and creating answers to their questions.
I was referred here by the Abroad Blog of the Week post and will now hit the follow button – your photos are extraordinary.
Thank you. I’m happy that you are enjoying them as much as I do trying to take them. I’m looking forward to Following your Blog also. How rich it is to be able to communicate with others around the world.
To all of you who have ‘Liked’ my Post today, I sincerely thank you. I am not creating all this photography, blogging, Facebook, etc. for profit. To me, it’s all about the pleasure of doing it and what experiences and lifestyles I can expose to others who may not be able to travel as much as I do, especially the children. It’s their future. I think that by exposing other cultures to another person it will help will help them see the world through different eyes and enrich that person’s life. It has enriched my life, for sure!!!
Congrats Harold! You deserve it
Kavi, thank you. I appreciate your remarks. I still have fond memories of thinking about making your Mushroom and Caramelized Onion Tartlets recipe. And I am not a cook. That’s for sure.
