Childhood passes swiftly for Maasai girls. Traditionally married in their teens, their prime duty is to produce sons to increase the father’s prestige within the community.

    • Nikki, thank you! Truly appreciate your comments and inspiration from them. Pack a backpack and wander among the Maasai as they live the raw life out on the veld. I found it amazing.

    • Thank you Peggy. Being able to get up close and personal with one of the world’s last warrior tribes is a very unique experience. The journey became very short the more I got involved in the Maasai lifestyle. I would love to live for a year as a Maasai.
